The Ottawa Business Journal has just announced the 2012 recipients of the annual Top 40 Under 40 award - and Envision President Todd Jamieson is on the list!

Co-presented by the OBJ and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, the Top 40 Under 40 award recognizes rising business leaders who have made significant contributions to their community. Just like the award title, the recipients must be under forty years old. The panel of judges (also business frontrunners themselves) evaluated the candidates based on business achievement, expertise, and community involvement.

On hearing the news, Jamieson said, “Winning this award has been a dream of mine for more years than I can count. I was an entrepreneur from an early age, and I’ve always looked at the Top 40 award as a true sign of success. I am delighted and moved beyond words.”

The June 11 newspaper edition of the Ottawa Business Journal will contain a full write up of all the winners, and the presentation gala will be held on June 21.

Envision Online has been awarded the Consumer Choice Business Excellence Award for the “Internet Web Design” category. The award is given to businesses voted by consumers as the best providers of customer service.

Established in 1987, the Consumer Choice Award is the only award of its kind in North America. The voting process is statistically accurate and solely based on the opinions of people in the community. This special site does more than explain the service and packages to users. If a customer knows what they need, they can choose their package right from the Home page, and pay for their purchases in a feww simple steps. If their need to add to their main package, they can do that too.

An e-commerce website needs to be completely updateable, and this powerful little site is no exception. The Cassidy's team can adjust prices, images, and descriptions, as well as create new packages and add-ons for their customers. A live chat feature allows them to communicate with site users who may need a more direct approach.

Part of a three-site rollout, the Self Store and Move site is a fully editable e-commerce website.
