Cassidy's Transfer and Storage Ltd. is one of Ottawa's first moving companies. The Ottawa Moving Company was first established in 1908 as a drayage company transporting baggage from the train station to nearby homes and businesses. Closeby was Petawawa, and a military base. Cassidy's quickly gained an excellent reputation and expanded its services into moving household furniture outside of the local area.

In 1969, the Robinson family took over Cassidy's and has been owned and operated by the family ever since. Under Gordon Robinson, Cassidy's has enjoyed steady growth and is now one of the largest Ottawa Moving Companies, servicing business and households with offices in Ottawa and Pembroke.

Cassidy's offers more than just an Ottawa Moving Company. Cassidy's also operates a substantial freight fleet and is a recognized leader in specialized transportation. This inludes the transporting of high value, high security and time sensitive shipping.
